Block 3 « Research and medical applications of radio-pharmaceuticals » is a post-graduate European Radiopharmacy Course recognized by the EANM Radiopharmacy Committee as theoretical module in the specialization certificate programme.
Courses are provided in English and are held at the INSTN in Saclay (France, 20km south of Paris).
An intensive postgraduate course
Purpose
To improve the training of radiopharmacists and radiopharmaceutical chemists
To contribute to a European academic education in radiopharmacy
To favour through harmonisation of training the mobility of students and workers

To improve your radiopharmaceutical knowledge and practical training
To be recognised as a radiopharmacist/radiopharmaceutical chemist

Full European vision of radiopharmaceutical practices.
European recognition : The ERC consists of block 3 « Research and medical applications of radio-pharmaceuticals » of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine course entitled : « European postgraduate education of persons responsible for the small-scale production and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals ».
Practical education
Lectures given by european professionals.
A content related to practice : exercises (40% of the teaching time) consolidating theoretical lectures.
Examination
Examination in your native language or in English (MCQ, short questions and problems).
A certificate will be given to students who have successfully passed the written exam which confers to the holder the EANM block 3 « Research and medical applications of radio-pharmaceuticals ».
Attending conditions
Applicants should either have the following qualification :
resident or professional pharmacists,
chemists (Masters of Sciences in chemistry or analytical chemistry),
biochemists (Masters of Sciences in biochemistry),
qny equivalent diploma or/and professional experience.
